Professor Richard ParishHome << Supporting statement

"Water is a vital nutrient for life, but in a busy working environment it is easy to overlook the importance of good hydration for our daily health.

Workers should be encouraged to drink water regularly throughout their day, and it is vital that people can have access to fresh, safe, well presented water in suitable places.

At Dwr Cymru, we have increased our investment and improved our services, to ensure that consumers in Wales continually have the highest quality drinking water available to them. Fresh tap water is provided through the public water supply every day, delivered direct, at a fraction of the price of less healthy and less environmentally sustainable drinks.

We are delighted to support the Water@Work campaign, and remain committed to the role that we can play in supporting public health, health and safety and the environmental sustainability of Wales. Good hydration has many long-term health benefits, making it an essential part of any healthy lifestyle".
